MEET ALEXANDRA SMITH, MSW, LICSW (MA), LCSW (FL)

As an eating disorder, anxiety and trauma therapist, I create a space where you are truly seen and heard. I use evidence-based therapies, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help you finally heal once and for all, so that you can live the balanced life you’ve been longing for.

As a relational therapist, I help you find clarity, overcome unhealthy relationship dynamics, and equip you with actionable tools to feel more calm and connected as you move through your life.

I have experience in a wide range of clinical environments, including hospitals, outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, and residential treatment. I have also worked professionally with veterans and military personnel, in both VA and active-duty installation settings.

My style is collaborative, direct, and attuned.

Born and raised in upstate New York, I now live on the Emerald Coast with my family, and am also an avid meditator, Gulf swimmer, and long-boarder. I look forward to collaborating with you.

Alex helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. Her approach felt warm and comforting with a high sense of emotional intelligence. She helped me explore my situation and feelings while challenging some of the stories I was telling myself to help me better navigate through that difficult period. I would recommend her to anyone.
